What is the difference between ROM and
RAM?
ROM:
Rom stands
for “Read Only Memory”. It is a type of storage medium which stores data
permanently on a personal computer or other electronic devices.
It keeps it data
saves even without power, so when the computer is switched off it does not
allow to waste the data. It is non-volatile, a section of BIOS chip that is
located on the motherboard.
RAM:
Ram stands
for “Random access memory”. It is the type of computer memory which saves data
temporary but not permanently.
It wastes its data when allows without power, so
when the computer is switched off it wastes all the data. It is located on the
motherboard of the computer.
